Hidimba is the wife of Bhima (one of the Pandavas) and the mother of Ghatotkacha, the hero of the Kurukshetra war. Butandevi is also considered as another form of Durga. The city of Hetaunda is believed to be named after the goddess Hidimba.

Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site located in Rupandehi district of province number 5 of Nepal. It is a major tourist attraction of the country with many temples and historical monuments.   You can witness the spiritual energy surrounding the area that gives you a sense of peace and harmony. Monks pray and recite melodious Buddhist music is another key point of the place which adds more beauty and peaceful atmosphere. It is one of the many magnets for pilgrimage that spread to places important to the Buddha's life. In this place there are old temples along with various new temples which have been financially supported by Buddhist organizations from different countries including Mayadevi temple.

  - Malikaarjun 🕉️❤️ Malikarjuna Temple has idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. According to the Nepali calendar, every year in the months of Ashadha and Kattik, this temple is crowded with devotees. The Gaura festival is also celebrated in this temple, which has the predominance of Darchula. The temple is also famous for long walks that end at this temple. It is very famous in Darchula district!!

This temple is located in Amargadhi Municipality-7, about four kilometers west of Dadeldhura. This temple is considered to be one of the nine Bhagwati temples in the far west of Nepal. It is built in pagoda style. It is a religiously important temple in Hinduism and is also rich in its art and architecture. The idol of Goddess Parvati is the main idol of the temple. No authentic inscriptions have yet been found about the origin of the temple. However, the origin story of Ugratara Bhagwati temple is interesting. However, there is no authentic inscription about the origin of the temple.

Badimalika Temple 🕉️🔱

  Badimalika Temple : -   located in Triveni Municipality of Bajura district of Sudurpashchim Pradesh, it is a temple dedicated to Bhagwati. Malika Chaturdashi is the major annual festival that is held in this temple. The temple is served by two priests, one of them representing Kalikot district while the other priest from Bajura district . Major Festivals  Every year there is a fair at this temple during the month of Bhadra.( August)  Pilgrims come from all over Nepal  thinking that their wishes will be fulfilled if they pray at the temple. There are two official fairs during Ganga Dashara and Janai Purnima. Getting There  To reach Badimalika temple, one has to make a difficult trek lasting 2-3 days from Martdi, the headquarters of Bajura district.
